Lina Tannir

Lina Tannir, Lecturer in Finance, teaches courses in corporate finance and international finance to undergraduates at the Olayan School of Business. She is a specialist in micro finance and has published articles in refereed journals. Lina served as the chairperson of a leading Lebanese NGO working in the field of culture and education and on the board of two other NGOs. Also, she is active in the private sector; serving on the board of a local company in the retail industry. She consults and participates in workshops for the public/private sector and entrepreneurs, and has developed several case studies with one of them awarded in the MENA region. Lina serves as a mentor and juror for regional/local business plan competitions such as the MIT Pan Arab Business Plan Competition. She is a CFA charterholder (2008), an MBA (2000) from AUB, and has over 10 years of experience in public sector reform programs.
