Patrick Fitzgerald is a financial services, technology, and professional and executive education executive. During his career, Mr. Fitzgerald has consulted with numerous universities, other educational institutions, and corporations around the world identifying areas of growth opportunity in new programs and structuring strategic partnerships. His expertise in rapid strategic planning, team building and strategic partnerships is complemented by depth in finance and product and program development. Most recently Managing Director, Pearson / New York Institute of Finance, the world’s leading education company focused on the financial services industry, he has a background in product and program development and management, marketing channels and communications, and Internet publishing. Before joining Pearson, he was Entrepreneur in Residence at C.P. Baker & Company, a private equity investment advisory firm that provides management consulting and corporate finance services to SMEs. Previously, as Executive Director, Global Products Group for Morgan Stanley Investment Management, a global asset management firm, he provided leadership and direction for product development and management efforts, and participated in setting the strategic direction of MSIM’s product range, identifying opportunities and enhancements that differentiated the product line across multiple sales channels. Before that, he was Co-Founder and COO of Acadient, Inc. a new media and Internet content publisher. He built Acadient from a start-up to an eLearning leader, raising private equity and forming strategic partnerships and distribution agreements with numerous global organizations. Prior to that as Vice President, Market Manager for Fidelity Investments, he led the development and implementation of strategic plans to meet stated goals for sales, customer penetration, financial targets and other measures. Before that, he was Vice President, Investment Product Management & Development for Fidelity.
